Reality Ever After

Rosalie has been ill for a long time. She doesn't really know how long, and she can't remember much about her life before she came to the Gorgon Hotel. Her guardian, Mrs Moberley, says it's because of her illness.

But Rosalie has started to dream, and the dreams she has show her another life, another world, and she begins to suspect that something is not right at the Gorgon Hotel. Why won't Mrs Moberley tell her anything about her parents, and why is she so insistent that Rosalie finish the ugly sampler she is embroidering?
